Final performance of The Little Mermaid, Jr. and "house keeping" reminders . .

Dearest Flutterbye Family,

CONGRATULATIONS!

I cannot begin to tell you how proud I am of each and every cast member.  The energy, the commitment, the smiles, the laughter, the theater games, the long rehearsals, the dances, the very intense tech week…Yes!  They will all be treasured and missed.

We have travelled far together, and have created a very special community of young and caring actors.

The bonds that come from being a Flutterbye member often times blossom into adulthood.

More than once, alumni have maintained their friendships; a few have even attended one another’s weddings and performed during the ceremonies.

A true story indeed.

I have enjoyed working with the cast; learning about each member, hearing how their week has been, and striving, as a “team”, to produce a unique and energized production.

I thank you all your four tireless commitment to the company and to the Arts.  Without theater, our lives would not be as enriched and fulfilled.

Before each cast member leaves today, ALL items must be removed from the Green Room.  Any item left will be discarded.  Camp begins at the Art Center early Monday morning, and we need to be respectful of the space.

If you have not yet paid for your cast member’s T-Shirt, please do so today!!!

I do hope that I will see everyone next season for our musical.  Spread the word, invite your friends!

Avery special “thank you” to all our parent volunteers!  Without your support, this season would not have moved as smoothly.

Be well, be happy, relax, smile.

Lys

Right here on the ocean floor.
Such wonderful things around you.
What more is you lookin' for?"
