Tea Party

Set: Clara’s House

Clara Enters Stage Right w/ SNOOPY 

Clara: Hey girls, I found a stray dog!
He wandered up to me in my backyard. It was love at first sight! 

[All the girls run up and crowd
around Clara and playing with Snoopy] 

Sophie: What should we call him?

Violet: Kyle! 

Shirley: No, what about DJ! 

Peggy: DJ? Biscuit sounds better!

Emily: How about Ginger or Alex? 

[Everyone argues] 

Clara:(Quietly) Rex, how about Rex! 

All: Rex! 

Sophie: Let’s get him ready! 

[Get ballet skirt AND tira, dress him]

Violet: He's tea party ready! 

[All sit down]

Peggy: Pass the sugar.

Clara: Would you like 2 lumps of sugar or 3

Peggy:7... please?

[loud slurp] 

Shirley: A toast to Rex for joining us on this beautiful day! 

[clink teacups and drink] 

Emily: A toast happiness!
